Brodie’s impressive NFL career spanned from 1957 to 1973, during which he set multiple records for the 49ers. He holds the record for most seasons played with the team (17) and ranks second in career passing yards (31,548) behind Joe Montana. Brodie’s 214 touchdown passes are third in team history, behind Montana and Steve Young. He led the NFL in yards passing three times and touchdown passes twice, earning first-team All-Pro honors in 1970 and second-team in 1965.
