Sean “Diddy” Combs Faces New Sexual Assault Allegations While Serving Prison Sentence
Sean “Diddy” Combs, currently serving a four-year prison sentence for using prostitutes in “freak-offs,” is under investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department for new allegations of sexual assault. A record producer has come forward, alleging that Combs assaulted him on two separate occasions. The investigation, initiated by the sheriff’s Special Victims Unit, is focused on one of the incidents that occurred in East Los Angeles, according to Nicole Nishida, a department spokeswoman.
Background and Allegations
The producer, John Hay, revealed in media interviews that he was the “John Doe” plaintiff in a civil lawsuit filed in July, alleging assault. Hay claims that he was subjected to sex acts in 2020 and 2021 while working on a remix project of music by Biggie Smalls, which brought him into contact with Bad Boy Records and company executive Combs. The lawsuit states that Combs provided drugs to everyone present at a warehouse in Los Angeles, where Notorious B.I.G.’s clothing was being stored, and then masturbated with one of Biggie’s shirts in front of Hay.
In a second incident, Hay alleges that he was lured to a meeting by Biggie’s son, Christopher “CJ” Wallace Jr., and music producer Willie Mack, but upon arrival, his head was covered, and Combs appeared, yelling and ordering everyone to leave. Combs then allegedly attempted to force Hay to perform oral copulation while his head was still covered. Hay has stated that he is pushing for criminal charges to be filed against Combs at a state and federal level.
Investigation and Lawsuits
A police report obtained by People magazine shows that Hay reported the allegations to Largo, Fla., police on September 20 of this year. Gary Dordick, Hay’s lawyer, stated that they intend to present their client’s case to a jury in California and are confident that the truth will prevail. However, Dordick declined to comment further due to a defamation lawsuit filed by Wallace last week. Wallace’s lawsuit claims that Hay’s recent interviews were a “calculated smear campaign” that included false statements about attending Combs’ parties and conspiring to lure Hay to a location where Combs allegedly assaulted him.
Combs is currently incarcerated at Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dixon, a New Jersey low-security federal penitentiary. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department investigation is ongoing, and no further comments have been made by Combs’ representatives.
