Box Office Rankings

“Avatar: Fire and Ash” remained in the second spot, with sales of $1.7 million on its sixth Friday in theaters. In third was the supernatural psychological horror “Return to Silent Hill,” with $1.6 million in revenue. The film, which is based on a video game and cost $23 million to make, has received mixed reviews, with IndieWire describing it as “a nasty, claustrophobic display of staggering creative ineptitude.”

Disney’s “Zootopia 2” stayed in fourth with a $1.4 million take. Notably, on Jan. 18, when it reached a total of $1.7 billion in global box office revenue, the zebra buddy cop comedy dethroned “Inside Out 2” as the highest-grossing U.S. animated film of all time.
