This comes on the heels of her brother Juju’s success last season, where he helped the baseball team secure the City Section Open Division title at the iconic Dodger Stadium.

Talya, a junior, has already made a name for herself as the starting shortstop for the softball team since her freshman year. Her transition to flag football has been seamless, with her developing into an accurate passer and mobile quarterback. This season, she has amassed an impressive 40 touchdown passes, a testament to her adaptability and skill on the field.
