The latest adaptation of Emily Bronte’s classic novel, “Wuthering Heights,” has dominated the box office on its opening weekend, with gross sales hitting $11 million, according to The Numbers. This impressive debut can be attributed to the steamy romance between the film’s stars, Jacob Elordi and Margot Robbie, which has captivated audiences worldwide.

Coming in at No. 2 was the animated animal sports flick “GOAT,” which took home $7.1 million in its first week in theaters. The movie, released on Friday, follows a small goat named Will along his path to sports stardom, and features voice appearances from NBA legend Stephen Curry and pop-star Jelly Roll.

“Crime 101,” starring Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo made $3.9 million bucks in its first day on the silver screen, ranking No. 3 after opening Friday. Christ Hemsworth’s heist film “Crime 101” came in third place after opening in theaters on Friday.

“Send Help,” the horror comedy with Rachel McAdams and Dylan O’Brien, moved down to fourth on the list, taking home $1.8 million this weekend after two weeks in theaters.
