She typically attacks off the bounce in straight lines to create opportunities in the lane.” Kussow also demonstrated her adaptability at the Under Armour Elite 24, adjusting to the free-flowing pace of play by game day. Ranked as the fourth-best shooting guard in the country and the top overall recruit from Wisconsin by 247 Sports, Kussow’s commitment is a significant gain for the University of Minnesota.

Kussow, a 5-foot-10 shooting guard from Arrowhead High School in Hartland, Wis., has an impressive record. Named the 2024-25 Gatorade Wisconsin Girls Basketball Player of the Year, she is the first recipient of this award from Arrowhead High School. At the time of her selection, Kussow had led the Warhawks to a 25-3 record and a berth in the Division 1 state quarterfinals, averaging 26.7 points, 9.9 rebounds, 3.8 steals, 3.0 assists, and 1.0 blocks through 28 games.
