Dodgers Dominate Brewers in Game 2 of NLCS
The Milwaukee Brewers’ postseason slogan “Magic Brew” seemed to lose its charm as the Los Angeles Dodgers took a commanding 2-0 lead in the National League Championship Series. The Dodgers’ 5-1 win in Game 2 was a testament to their dominance, with pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto delivering a complete game and the team’s star-studded lineup relentless in their attack.
The Brewers, despite their best efforts, failed to stack up against the defending World Series champions. Their staff ace, Freddy Peralta, struggled to limit the damage against the Dodgers’ juggernaut lineup, giving up three runs in a 5⅔ inning start. The Brewers’ typically opportunistic offense led the game off with a home run but hardly touched Yamamoto thereafter.

A Dominant Performance
Yamamoto’s complete game was a highlight of the evening, as he worked around early traffic and retired his final 14 batters. The Dodgers’ offense, meanwhile, quickly staked him to a lead, with Teoscar Hernández tying the score on a towering home run to left in the top of the second. Andy Pages shot a two-out RBI double down the line for a 2-1 advantage, and the Dodgers didn’t relent from there.
