Attorney General Keith Ellison has announced the formation of a new team to facilitate negotiations between the University of Minnesota, Fairview Health Services, and M Physicians regarding the future of the state’s medical school and health system. Fairview Health Services has agreed to continue negotiations, but has reiterated its commitment to the initial 10-year funding agreement with the physicians group, which includes a $1 billion investment in the medical school.
